About Me

I am Tiffiny Wine, artist and dancer living in Denver, Colorado.  After spending most of my 20’s competing and performing vintage Lindy Hop, I began painting in oil and watercolors at the Art Student’s League of Denver in 2009.

I wear many hats.  Aside from dancing and painting I also take care of bees.That’s Shelley on the left, and then Marie, Buffy, Lila, Cher, Nina, Elizabeth…
And I am also a gardener, and have had a fascination with bugs, trees, soil and plants all of my life.

I think there is more to life on this planet than we as humans can understand, and that it is narcissistic foolishness to believe that everything that exists can be measured by one of our few five senses or a machine we made with those 5 senses.

And so, in my world, anything is possible.  Even eating lunch while flying over someone’s head.

I have a darker, cynical side.  I think it’s unintelligent to accentuate only the positive while ignoring the negative.  Winter is just as important as summer, death is an important part of life and without your shadow there is no sun.  Being ignorant to the darker aspects of life inhibits our decisions.  Plus, darkness and mystery can sometimes make life more interesting.The Fire took out Mark and Chris’s Forest.

And when I’m not out painting, dancing, blogging or hanging out with some bees, I’m probably somewhere living up to my name.
